The Geographe Wine Region is becoming world renowned in it's own right.

Right in the middle of the region is, Capel, truly the gateway to Margaret River in the South West of Western Australia.

Geographe Wines Pty Ltd is the marketing arm for Kellivale Estate, a small vineyard set up by the McDermott Family in 1999, on the pristine Capel River, east of Capel.

Kellivale Estate was the alternative variety dream. It is now reality.

First to plant the alternatives, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo this little patch of the Geographe Wine region is fast becoming a haven for anything different.

The 2008 vintages of Tempranillo and Sangiovese have now won our first medals.

The Tempranillo a Silver at the Blackwood wine show and a Bronze at the Geographe Wine Show. The Sangiovese a Bronze at the Blackwood.

These wines are beginning to come of age. Come in and try them.
